Assessment pricing
Psychological assessment is a process that combines the use of psychometric tools, clinical observation and interview, and the gathering of other information from various sources (e.g., teachers). This provides a holistic view to better understand thinking, learning, behaviour and socio-emotional development and helps in identifying areas of strength and challenge, and planning the way forward for your child and family.
Your investment
We specialise in the assessment (including diagnosis) and support of neurodevelopmental differences in children. Our comprehensive assessment process is based on psychological best practice and considers the whole child to deliver a diagnostic overview of their neurotype, strengths and difficulties and emotional experiences. This provides a solid foundation on which to build child-centered intervention, support and understanding; what we consider paramount to nurturing a thriving future.
Our approach and assessment process is neuroaffirming and therapeutic.
Packages below are reflective of common presentations and generally explore core areas of neurodevelopment. Assessment may differ depending on individual clients and their needs. As such, prices are approximate costs depending on the individual assessment plan. Prices may be subject to change and may vary depending on the complexity of the assessment and report.
THE PROCESS:
All cost estimates are inclusive of the entire assessment process including approx. number sessions (usually 4-8 sessions from intake to feedback) and comprehensive report.
Our focus is on providing therapeutic support to children, of which assessment is an integral part. We aim to understand a child's unique developmental (diagnostic) profile, strengths, challenges, capacity and abilities. Our assessment journey helps to understand a child's progress and current needs, while providing therapeutic supports during the process. This then informs further planning and tailored supports to build and nurture their capacity, independence and socio-emotional development.
Please refer to 'Our process' below. Fees are spread across this process, and payable at the time of each session. At the last assessment session an upfront payment for the report is requested. There is no obligation at any time to continue the process (noting that this will be reflected in an incomplete assessment). After your intake session, you will receive an assessment plan, including the costs and schedule of payment. Please note assessment for one primary concern can consider/uncover many areas of development and thus pricing and assessment will be discussed in collaboration with parents in this regard if multiple areas of investigation are wanted/warranted.
